Services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday,
December 19, 2009 at Ten Mile Baptist Church for Kathryn Breland Fairley, 78,
of Wiggins, who died December 16, 2009 in Florence. Burial will follow in Ten
Mile Cemetery.
Mrs. Fairley had worked for a number of years
at Mississippi Baptist Children’s Home in Laurel and Dizzy Dean Children’s Home
in Wiggins and a member of Ten Mile Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Fairley;
a daughter, Margaret Bishop; brothers, Talmadge Breland and John Breland; and
two great-grandchildren, William Grady Sanford, III and Sara Elizabeth Sanford.
Survivors include two daughters, Glenda Maxey
of Florence and susan Blackwell of Natchez; two stepdaughters, Ann Fairley and
Jodi Fairley; three stepsons, James Fairley, Johnny Fairley and Jerry Don
Fairley; four sisters, Bertha Taylor, Jean Morgan, Iva Rigby and Gay Rayburn;
two brothers, Donald Boyce Breland and Keith Breland; two gransons, Ronnie
Carrol Cox, Jr. and Clifton Craig Cox both of Natchez; and a granddaughter,
Mary Kathryn Sanford of Harrisville.
Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Ten
Mile Baptist Church.
