Services will be held at 10
a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Moore Funeral Chapel in Petal for Roger W.
McLemore, 65, who died December 28, 2009 at his home in Moselle. Burial will
follow in Bennie Hensarling Cemetery.
Mr. McLemore worked in road construction as a heavy equipment operator with Tanner
Construction for more than 50 years and was Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Homer
McLemore and a son, Douglas Wayne McLemore.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Lucy McLemore of
Moselle; a daughter, Angela Marie McLemore-Davis of Seminary; a stepson, Joe
Johnson of Petal; two stepdaughters, Traci Kickens and K.C. Sisco both of
Petal; his mother, Mary McCready of Arkansas; two brothers, James McLemore of
Summerville, Texas and Charles McLemore of Glendale; a sister, Gloria Shelton
of Wasilla, Alaska; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and six
step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:30 – 9 p.m. at Moore
Funeral Home in Petal.
