Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Petal Harvey Baptist Church for Nicholas Hendry, 18, of Petal, who died December 31 at University of Mississippi in Jackson. Burial will follow in Green’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tracy Hipps will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ricky Adams, Stephen Ard, Scott Holmes, Tony Lyman, Matthew Kuespert and Jacob Fitzgerald.
Nicholas was a student at Petal High School. He was a member of the Petal High School Band, Petal Indoor Ensemble and Petal Harvey Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Joe and Melanie Henry of Petal; two brothers, Zachary Hendry and Sam Hendry, both of Petal; and grandparents, Ketty and Linda Spiers of Petal.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Phil and Priscilla Hendry.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5-9 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal.
