Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church for A.J. Fairley, 74, of Perkinston, who died January 16 at his home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Fairley was retired from the U.S. Forestry Service after 30 years as a timber administrator and was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Kathleen Fairley, Sr. and a sister, Eva Loy Flurry.
Survivors include his wife, Elouise Fairley of Perkinston; two sons, Elween Fairley of Perkinston and Kevin Fairley of Purvis; two daughters, Clara Rustin of West Point and Elaine Hartfield of Purvis; 11 grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. at the church.
