Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2010 at Moore Funeral Chapel in Purvis for Bessie Freeman, 84, of Purvis, who died January 21 at Teche Regional Hospital in Morgan City, Louisiana. Burial will follow in Coaltown Cemetery. Rev. Bob Eastwood will officiate.
Mrs. Freeman was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Purvis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gharon Freeman and her son, Gwendell Wayne Freeman.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Morgan of Lafayette, Donna Richardson of Hattiesburg and Theresa Businelle of Morgan City, Louisiana; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday prior to the service beginning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
