Services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Little Sweetwater Baptist Church for Mr. Waino F. Hunt, 80 of Benndale, who died February 7 at Forrest General Hospital. Burial will follow in Little Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery
Mr. Hunt was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and Owner of Waino Hunt Logging Company. He was a member and Deacon of Little Sweetwater Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Burnett Hunt; a brother, W.F. Hunt; and a sister, Katie Mae Parker.
Survivors include his wife, Verla Mae Hunt of Benndale; two sons, Kenneth and wife, Mavis Hunt, Daniel and wife, Anne Hunt all of Benndale; a daughter, Kathleen and husband Augdon of Poplarville; a sister, Barbara and husband, Franklin Gill of Lucedale; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 09, 2010 from 6-10 pm at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
